who am i?

hi!
I’m Ash
Mum to 2 crazy toddler boys, wife to Brandon, chicken mum and just an all round lover of a good time; if I'm not chasing my kids around the backyard with a mango daiquiri in my hand you'll find me with my friends and family.
I genuinely love connecting with people, celebrating their stories, and creating a space where you can be completely yourself.
For me, family photography is about more than just beautiful images, it’s about capturing your story in a way that feels real, relaxed, and completely you. I’m there for the big belly laughs, the quiet cuddles, the cheeky grins, and all the in-between magic that makes this season of life so special.
My goal is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and fully present while I document every detail with care and creativity. These days may feel long, but the years fly by; and your photographs will help you hold onto them forever.
A great family photographer does more than take pictures. They capture the emotion, the energy, and the little in-between moments you didn’t even realise were happening.
They help you slow down, soak it in, and simply love on your people while the memories are preserved naturally.
In 10 years’ time, when your babies aren’t babies anymore, your photographs will be the way you remember how it all felt.
My Approach:
Family sessions with me are relaxed, playful and completely pressure-free. I don’t expect perfectly behaved kids or Pinterest-perfect poses- I expect real life. And that’s where the magic happens.
I’ll gently guide you into natural movement rather than stiff posing. We might walk, cuddle, tickle, chase, swing, twirl or simply sit close together and soak in a quiet moment. The goal isn’t to make your children “perform” it’s to let them be exactly who they are.
If your toddler runs wild? We embrace it.
If your baby needs cuddles? We pause.
If someone needs a snack break? We roll with it.
I create space for genuine connection so your photos feel warm, honest and full of life. You won’t be left wondering what to do with your hands, and you won’t feel awkward or overly directed. I balance guidance with freedom so everything feels natural and effortless.
Most importantly, I want you to leave your session thinking, “That was actually fun.”
Because when you feel relaxed, your children do too and that’s when the real moments unfold.
